Things are quickly changing for Vinoka, his sister Afo is moving out from their native home to a city. The thought of his sister moving makes young Vinoka introspect the changing nature of things and how he will have to adjust to a new life without his sister around. He also reflects on how his own surroundings and climate are changing with deforestation and seasonal changes and how he must adapt to all of this newness around him. This is a beautiful story that combines personal longing for family with the change in our surroundings.
