Padma loves Bumboo, her family’s pet donkey who is playful and helps her family out their daily tasks in Ladakh. However, Bumboo suddenly has a strange problem, he is unable to move in the dark which causes Padma and her family to become worried about Bumboo. Will Padma’s father be forced to sell Bumboo to someone else because of this strange behavior? Or will Padma find out a way to help her beloved donkey?
