This story really moved us because this communicates the voice of the author who is also the main protagonist of the story which makes it a very relatable read. However what particularly touched our hearts was how subtly this story gives an honest insight into the challenges a household faces when resources are limited. Much like the publisher, we also hope that we can meet Muskaan in person, some day. We especially like how this book could be used as a tool for English and foundational numeracy, as the book uses rhyming and onomatopoeia with words like ‘Trun-Trun’, ‘Tick-Tock’ and uses basics of counting, grouping & addition, in the flow of the story.
