This book is written from the lens of two pencils, a red pencil and a blue pencil, who are eagerly waiting to be sold to a customer. The red pencil gets sold to a military jawan and the blue pencil gets sold to a teacher. When they reunite at the end of their life, they recount their vastly stark experiences and conclude how who their owner was and the actions they chose, decided the fate of the pencils.
