This is a beautifully illustrated and sensitive story set in a pond of Bengal, where the fish family is preparing for Punti’s (a fish) wedding. The wedding preparation introduces the readers to a variety of members who dwell in the aquatic habitat and how each of them are contributing to this joyous occasion, till the story reaches a twist where we get to know that there is an environmental emergency that can threaten the homes and lives of Punti and her friends.
