This story is a part of a series of books eponymous to the adventures of Falgu. Falgu is a farmer and in this book he is traveling to the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj (erstwhile Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh by train and the writer walks us through the different incidents that he encounters in this journey. The illustrations in this book are a beautiful compliment to the words, the illustrations are vibrant, inclusive, diverse and overall capture the essence of Kamla Bhasin’s words, accurately. We would highly recommend this book for adults and students (who are Level 5 or above) and ponder about the various forms of inequalities that torment our society and how we can claim Azaadi from it all.
